Please welcome home Sister Janeil Bone!
Excerpt from a recent letter—
February 2, 2015 …I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’ve learned being a missionary and how I have changed and all that jazz as I continue to come to the close of my time serving as a missionary. Recently, I have been thinking a lot about what the Gospel has done for me, and I usually think “well if I didn’t have the Gospel I’d be ‘xyz’ and who knows what I’d be doing” things more like that. But recently I have discovered that I could forever think about where I might be if I didn’t have the Gospel, but that’s not very tangible because I can’t prove that. I have definitely learned a lot more about what the Gospel has tangibly done for me. There isn’t a time I ever not been a part of the church, so I don’t know what the other side is like. But I do know that if it wasn’t for the Gospel I wouldn’t have been able to be a missionary in the same way. You definitely learn a lot as a missionary. So I am very thankful that I have been able to realize the place I am at now is because of the Gospel. That I know for sure. I am so glad that I have the Gospel because I wouldn’t be me without it.
I love you all and I am very thankful for your love and support! Have an excellent week!
