October 7 – The Prophet Joseph Smith
In the spring of 1820, a young boy entered the woods near his home in upstate New York to ask God which of all the sects was the true Church of Jesus Christ.  This young boy was Joseph Smith and the answer to his humble question set in motion the marvelous work and wonder foretold in ancient times.  His life stands as a testimony to all the world of his divine calling as Prophet, seer, and revelator of the Restoration.   Join us as we explore the life and mission of Joseph Smith.
October 8 – The Book of Mormon
Referred to as one of the most important gifts given to the world in modern times, The Book of Mormon was prepared by the Lord over a period of more than a thousand years.  In its introduction, the Prophet Joseph Smith said, “…the Book of Mormon [is] the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and [its reader will] get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book”.  Join us for an engaging presentation about this book.
