Strengthening the Marriage Class

The Strengthening the Family Class will be taught Sunday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Primary Room of the Wildcat Reserve building from January 3, 2016 through February 28, 2016.

Strong, stable families are essential in these latter days to withstand the temptations and challenges that confront parents and children. This course has been created in response to the need for better parenting and stronger families. It contains gospel teachings and parenting skills to help fathers and mothers successfully rear their children. As parents learn and prayerfully apply the gospel teachings and skills, forming a partnership with God in the raising of His children, He will bless and help them in their efforts (see 3 Nephi 18:20-21). Some benefits you should expect from applying the principles taught would include increased unity and better communication in the family, as well as, greater ability to resolve conflict without anger.

Babysitting will not be provided, so please plan ahead. Although it is best if both mother and father attend each class together, parents may alternate their attendance and work together during the week to ensure they are unified in their understanding and implementation of the principles taught. We hope to see you in class. The class will be taught by Brother & Sister Harmer.
